Tuesday, May 6, from 2 PM until 4 PM at Thimble Pleasures in Carrboro, NC. Intermediate Japanese Temari Class - Kiku Herringbone Stitching. Choose any of the kiku designs from Japanese Temari, A Colorful Spin on an Ancient Craft. Come to class with the ball already wrapped and marked and we'll go from there.

Saturday, May 17, 2008, from 10 AM until 12:30 PM at The French Knot in Raleigh.  The first monthly temari workshop! This will be an on-going, multi-level group class with limited seating.   Each month I will come with a new temari pattern for you. You can bring show and tell, questions and suggestions.   The first workshop is on the much-requested All-Over Swirl.  I found the absolute easiest way to mark this one with squares and hexagons from a simple 4-division.  All levels (above rank beginner) are welcome.   Please take my beginner class first.  Bring a ball wrapped in a dark color and we will take it from there. Class fee $20.  Kit fee extra.
