The author has done extensive research to present us with a timeline of stories and art depictions of the craft of temari. She goes on to discuss different divisions and markings and designs and stitches. I found the history of the Japan Temari Association very interesting and was delighted to see that she included my two books (Japanese Temari, A Colorful Spin, and Temari Techniques in the list of books written by JTA members!
