Goldfish Temari
Goldfish is stitched with 6 strand embroidery floss on a 32 centers temari. A starfish is embroidered at the north pole and south pole. Ten goldfish are stitched around the equator. Jelly fish and crabs are stitched at 6-way intersections and kelp is embroidered freely in the spaces between. I sent this temari to Japan along with my patterns.
This temari demonstrates my ability to mark with "invisible" thread, stitch with floss, embellish with beads, and do some free embroidery to create a unique design. It's a highly organized design even though it doesn't look it.
