A combination 10 division temari is several simple 10 divisions applied to the same ball. So, begin with a simple 10, with twelve pins in the ball. Figure your C10 magic number. Move half the equator pins towards the north pole (the magic number distance) and the remaining equator pins down towards the south pole (the magic number distance. Add more guidelines so each of the twelve pins on the ball has a 10-way intersection of thread.

When you see pentagons, triangles, and diamonds on a temari, you know it's a C10:
