"Grandmother Star" - Online Temari Class
This class is designed for temari stitchers who already know how to mark a C10 division and want to begin exploring multicentered divisions. Detailed instructions are given from start to finish, including making and marking a ball (from a simple division to C10 to 32 centers), along with many tips on techniques. Instructions are given for stitching a pentagon and hexagon, 5-petal and 6-petal kiku designs (kiku herringbone stitching), stitching a triangle through keeper pins and the more advanced technique of continuous line stitching. Glossary of terms in English and Japanese is a discussion topic for the last week of class.
