Echo Star Temari
Echo Star class is for the beginner who has never made a temari or for someone who would like to add to their basic skills.
Three detailed weekly lessons include instructions on :

a ball
*mark a simple 10-division
*stitch a 5-point star layered with other stars
*decorate
the obi area
*make a hanger for the top
*
make a tassel for the bottom
*tips on techniques
*glossary of
terms in English and Japanese
*patterns for three extra temari using the same stitches as Echo Star
Class fee includes:

The kit includes enough supplies to make 4 temari: Echo Stars and 3 smaller coordinating temari. Kit includes: 4 cups rice hulls, 1 knee high stocking, 1 skein yarn (1.5 oz), 3 cones white overlock thread, paper strips for marking, 1 #3 Extra Long darner needle, 7 skeins DMC #5 pearl cotton thread, 1 card Nordic Gold metallic thread, 1 tape measure.
