Morning Glory is a 3 inch diameter temari made with traditional ingredients. We’ll make a core with rice hulls. Then we’ll wrap the core with soft baby yarn and overlock thread to create the surface for stitching. The ball is marked in a simple 8-division by folding a strip of paper into 8 sections and using it as a guide. No math!

You will learn the techniques for wrapping bands of thread around the ball and stitching a herringbone design through keeper pins.

Kit includes everything you will need except scissors to complete this project with lots left over for more temari.
