Echo Star class is for the beginner who has never made a temari or for someone who would like to add to their basic skills. The star motif is great for holiday ornaments! Are you dreaming of Christmas?
Three detailed weekly lessons include instructions on:

*mark a simple 10-division
*stitch a 5-point star layered with other stars
*decorate
the obi area
*make a hanger for the top
*make a tassel for the bottom
*tips on techniques

terms in English and Japanese
*patterns for three extra temari using the same stitches as Echo Star

The kit includes enough supplies to make 4 temari (Echo Star and 3 smaller coordinating temari).
It includes: 4 cups rice hulls, 1 knee high stocking, 1 skein yarn (1.5 oz), 3 cones white overlock thread, paper strips for marking, 1 #3 Extra Long darner needle, 7 skeins DMC #5 pearl cotton thread, 1 card Nordic Gold metallic thread, 1 tape measure.
