Temari Class for the John C. Campbell Folk School
Upcoming classes at John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC
September 23-29, 2012 (six night week)
A full week of stitching temari together. All levels welcome. The temari shown in the photo are beginning designs. After you sign up with the school, let's talk about what you want to learn. This will be a multi-level class. My new book Temari Techniques is filled with designs for all levels. We can use that as a text for all sorts of temari designs. This will be a wonderful time to make presents for Christmas!
When you sign up for the class, you'll learn about the kit. I'm not sure what Campbell will tell you, but this kit is optional. It includes the basic ingredients for making temari so if you've never made them before, you should definitely purchase one from me on campus after you arrive. I'll be in touch with all registered students before class starts to find out if you want a kit or partial kit. I'll also be asking your experience with temari and what you'd like to learn to make the week as perfect as I can for each student.
