Japanese Temari, A Colorful Spin on an Ancient Craft

Auction to raise funds for breast cancer research

The Attic, Mesa, Arizona, will be holding its 10th Annual Silent Auction for Breast Cancer Research on Saturday night, November 17th, 6 - 8 p.m.   Here's my contribution. I hope you will send them one, too.

The temari is a combination 10-division stitched with DMC #5 pearl cotton, Kreinik #8 metallic, and Candlelight Metallic yarn. Inside is a jingle bell and other small goodies to bring good luck to the buyer. The design is an original which Barbara will be teaching at the EGA National Seminar 2008 in Louisville, Kentucky.
